Programs at the Theosophical Society

and Open Discussion Group

Carol Stream, August 11, 2007

Programs at the Theosophical Society in America in Wheaton, Illinois, have been finalized and its my pleasure to announce that Tony Lysy and myself will conduct another class this fall. It is billed as an "Open Discussion Group" and is meant to be an open exploration into fundamental questions about the nature of Theosophy as a doctrine, an attitude and a claim of being the synthesis of science, religion and philosophy, or whatever else we think Theosophy is or should be. We intend this class to be an educational experience of the first order through primarily dialogue and discussion, but also study, presentations and individualized attention to calibrate an intensification process of understanding and appropriation.

For the many other classes and activities that will happen at the TS this fall see the full program.

Find below more specifics on the "Open Discussion Group," TheosoFEST 2007 and the class "Echoes from the Gnosis: An Introduction to Gnosis and Gnosticism," which will be webcast live.

Please contact Ruthan Fowler if you like to participate in any of these classes.

It will be webcast live.
