Spiritual Event V:

Krishnamurti's defection from the Masters in +1927. Collapse of the Project in 1929.

Historical Consequences:

Crash on Wall Street, Depression, Rise of Nationalism, Militarism and Fascism, International Crisis, Military Aggression, Total War 1929-1945.

Spiritual Precedents:

a) Arrogance of the Templars. b) Political overreach by Rosicrucians in Bohemian adventure: Frederick of the Palatine going for the crown of Bohemia. c) Political ambitions by the Masons.

Historical Consequences:

a) Calamitous fourteenth Century: Hundred Years' War 1337-1475 and Bubonic Plague 1347-1354. b) 30-year War 1618-1648 and witch-hunts. c) French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars 1789-1815.

A key individual in a project fails an important test, which triggers others to fail also. In this case it was Krishnamurti's failing. An alternative interpretation would be that Krishnamurti succeeded and the terrible thirties were just opposition.

Spiritual balance of forces out of whack. Spiritual vacuum created by the `lightbearers' and black magicians running in.

Spiritual Event V: Collapse of the Project with Krishnamurti

Krishnamurti starts doubting the Masters, his role, the Path etc.

1929

Krishnamurti dissolves the Order of the Star.

Guido von List (1848-1919) Austrian occultist, writer and racist. Pioneered the combination of occult and racist ideas, which influenced Nazi ideology.

Jorg Lanz von Liebenfells (1874-1954) Austrian theologian, astrologer, writer. Developed a racist-occultist doctrine of  'Ariosophy,' which also influenced Nazi ideology.

Rudolf von Sebottendorf (1875-1945). German adventurer, astrologer and spy. Leader of the Thule Society.

Dietrich Eckhart (1868-1923) German occultist and writer. Allegedly initiated Hitler into some black arts.

Adolf Hitler (1889-1945). Austrian magus, politician and dictator of Nazi Germany. Together with Heinrich Himmler, Rudolf Hess, Joseph Goebbels, Ernst Roehm etc.

Joseph Stalin (1879-1953). Russian revolutionary and Communist. Dictator of the USSR.

Spiritual Precedents

Historical Consequences
